Declares for draft
GDavidson
April 24, 2019
Gudmundsson announced April 16 that he would hire an agent and enter the 2019 NBA Draft, David Scott of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Gudmundsson and backcourt co-star Kellan Grady both declared for the draft, though the latter's decision to sign with an agent suggests he's more likely of the two to remain in the draft ahead of the June 10 deadline. Due to a new rule instituted by the NCAA last fall, Gudmundsson can still sign with an agent and retain eligibility, so there's a chance the 6-foot-4 point guard returns to Davidson for his senior season if he's unsatisfied with the feedback he receives during the pre-draft process.
