Edler-Davis shot over 60 percent from the field and from beyond the arc during the team's trip to Canada, Jeff Goodman of WatchStadium.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Edler-Davis was expected to be relied upon to up his offensive game after the program lost two of their top three scorers in Rickey Holden and Damiyne Durham to graduation. It appears as though the team's wishes have been granted as the redshirt junior showed off quite the impressive shooting stroke in Canada. This is a major step up from last season in which he averaged 39 percent from the floor and just 31 percent from three-point range. The competition at the Division 1 level figures to be a bit more intense, but it is definitely encouraging to see any player shoot this well at any stage of a particular competition.
