Williamson announced April 22 via his personal Twitter account that he has entered the NCAA's transfer portal.
ANALYSIS
Williamson was one of five Mercer players to enter the portal shortly after the school completed a 11-20 season that resulted in coach Bob Hoffman's firing. With Greg Gary set to take over the program, Williamson will weigh offers from other schools while simultaneously leaving the door open for a reunion with the Bears. During his true freshman campaign, Williamson appeared in 26 games and averaged 1.1 points and 1.1 rebounds in 4.7 minutes.
