Swift-skating minor leaguer Ratchuk took his game to Europe last year after his career stalled out at the ECHL level.

Ratchuk can skate like the wind but so far he hasn't been able to translate that ability into any kind of production above the ECHL level, and at this point he likely never will.

Ratchuk has great speed and skating ability, but so far that hasn't translated into anything useful as a pro for the 23-year-old, and his time as any kind of a prospect is running out.

Speedy defense prospect scored 3-7-10 in 35 AHL games last season after being acquired by the Blue Jackets.

It will be many years before Ratchuk even has a shot to make the Flyers.
