Comes up short in upset bid against Noad Lahat
FeatherweightOther
November 17, 2017
Labiano lost to Noad Lahat via unanimous decision (27-29, 27-29, 27-29) at Bellator 188 on Thursday in Tel Aviv, Israel.
ANALYSIS
Labiano appears to be the fighter in Bellator who always faces fighters in their hometowns. He had been set to face James Gallagher in Ireland. However, after Gallagher suffered a knee injury, Labiano ended up facing Noad Lahat in Israel. The American fighter had some moments on the feet. He landed some hard leg kicks and uppercuts, but he could not stop takedowns from Lahat. He ended up stuck on the ground eating strikes in each of the rounds. Labiano falls to 2-2 in Bellator and 11-6 as a professional.
