Taisumov defeated Felipe Silva via KO (punch) at 1:24 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night 115 on Saturday in Rotterdam.
Taisumov landed a knockout that you will likely see in highlight films for years. Silva came forward with a combination. Taisumov evaded the strikes and landed a counter right hand that dropped Silva to the ground. He was out before he landed. The Russian fighter has now won five-straight fights via knockout. After the fight, he begged for a top-ten fighter, which seems appropriate.

Fantasy AnalysisTaisumov has been out of action since April 2016 and was set to return in May against Joaquim Silva at UFC Stockholm. However, he withdrew from the fight with a shoulder injury. His return is currently scheduled against a newer UFC fighter in Felipe Silva, who made his promotional debut about a year ago and hasn't seen action since. Ring rust is a definite possibility for these two.
Fantasy AnalysisTaisumov announced on his Facebook page that he sustained a shoulder injury and would not be able to fight his lightweight bout against Joaquim Silva. The Russian is 25-5 (5-1 UFC) but hasn't seen stepped into the cage since April 2016. He hopes to be back in action soon.
Fantasy AnalysisVery nice. Taisumov suffered an eye poke in Round 1 and it was unclear if he could continue, but he toughed it out and put on a very impressive performance. The Chechen fighter is now 4-1 in the UFC, including wins over the talented Patrick and Tae Hyun Bang. The 26-year-old is an extremely fluid striker and he's another bright prospect who has joined the UFC recently from the Russian federation.
