Gibson will transfer to Oakland for his final year of eligibility, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Gibson announced his intent to leave Iowa State back in early-April and he's finally settled on a school for his senior season. Gibson played just 5.1 minutes per game last season, but at 6-9 he has a chance to make an impact in a less-competitive conference. A former three-star recruit from Detroit, Gibson will be required to sit out the 2014-15 season, per NCAA transfer rules.
