Pitcher
Tyler Anderson, COL vs. LOS ($6,200): Firing up southpaws against the Dodgers has paid off handsomely this season and I'm banking on this even applying at Coors. To begin with, Anderson is no ordinary Rockies pitcher, actually performing better overall at his normally hitter-friendly home park than he does on the road. Anderson has allowed a solid 3.45 ERA over 57.1 innings at home this season while also posting an 8.48 K/9 and 0.94 HR/9. He's also scored at least 30 fantasy points in six of his last seven starts, with four of those coming at home. His highest-scoring outing during that span was against this same Dodgers squad which he stymied over seven innings on Aug. 3, racking up 45 fantasy points. The Blue Crew is now also last in the majors against lefties with a .282 wOBA, furthering Anderson's appeal.
Catcher
Kurt Suzuki, MIN at CLE ($2,200): Sandy Leon ($2,500) is also very intriguing at his price point but I'm tabbing the even cheaper Suzuki, who's reached base safely in 11 of his last 12 games. He also has a fighting chance for a homer against Indians starter Josh Tomlin, who's given up a massive .366 wOBA against right-handed hitters that shoots up to an astronomical .412 when facing them at home, along with a 36.4 percent hard contact rate and 2.95 HR/9. Tomlin has also served up a whopping 34 homers on the season, with 20 of those coming off righty bats, and has yielded a 3.24 HR/9 and 45.3 percent hard contact rate over his last five starts. Suzuki owns a .340 wOBA against right-handed pitching on the road and offers the chance for a solid return at minimal investment.
First Base
C.J. Cron, LAA vs. CIN ($3,100): Cron has been wielding a hot bat since his return from the DL, hitting safely in six straight with three-hit efforts in his last two games. He also owns a .371 wOBA and 38.1 percent hard contact rate against right-handed pitching at home and a .362 wOBA in the nine games since his return. Reds pitcher Tim Adleman has admittedly been very tough against right-handed hitters this season but has given up a .340 wOBA on the road and a .373 wOBA over his last two starts.
Second Base
Ryan Schimpf, SDP at ATL ($3,000): Schimpf brings a healthy dose of power upside at this price and draws a good matchup against Julio Teheran who despite a solid season has given up a .330 wOBA and six homers to lefty bats at Turner Field. He's also been hit hard over his last two starts, giving up a 7.36 ERA, .428 wOBA and 4.93 xFIP. Meanwhile, Schimpf has scored 21.7 to 27.9 fantasy points in each of his last four games and checks in with a .412 wOBA, .384 ISO, 14 homers and 40.5 percent hard contact rate against right-handed pitching on the season.
Third Base
Jose Ramirez, CLE vs. MIN ($3,300): Adrian Beltre ($3,200) also deserves some consideration against a lefty in James Paxton but Ramirez draws an even better matchup in the form of Twins starter Andrew Albers, who's given up a .469 wOBA, 5.29 xFIP, 22.2 percent HR/FB rate and 50 percent hard contact rate against righty bats. The switch-hitting Ramirez checks in with a .401 wOBA, .257 ISO and 34.6 percent hard contact rate against southpaws at home along with a .355 average, five homers and a .414 wOBA over his last 28 games.
Shortstop
Troy Tulowitzki, TOR at BAL ($3,200): Tulowitzki continues to be a very viable cost-conscious source of power and draws a particularly appealing matchup against Orioles starter Ubaldo Jimenez, who's given up a .340 wOBA and 32.4 percent hard contact rate to right-handed bats. Tulo owns a .357 wOBA and .252 ISO against right-handed pitching on the road along with a 35.9 percent hard contact rate. He's also been wielding a hot bat in the second half and has a .300 average and .369 wOBA over his last 22 games.
Outfield
Hernan Perez, MIL vs. STL ($2,900): Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright has begun struggling again recently, surrendering a 7.50 ERA, .428 wOBA, five homers and a .624 slugging percentage over his last five starts while also yielding a .375 wOBA to righty bats on the road this season. Perez owns a .330 wOBA and 32.5 percent hard contact rate against right-handed pitching at home this season, along with a .333 wOBA, .245 ISO and six homers in August.
Miguel Sano, MIN at CLE ($3,500): Sano represents another cost-effective right-handed bat against Tomlin, whose extensive struggles against right-handed hitters at home were discussed earlier. Sano has a .356 wOBA and .220 ISO against right-handed pitching on the road along with a 39.3 percent hard contact rate against that handedness overall. He's been knocking the cover off the ball this month as well with a .340 wOBA, .253 ISO, five homers and a 34 percent hard contact rate over his last 22 games.
Ender Inciarte, ATL vs. SDP ($3,200): Inciarte has been a very solid multi-category producer for fantasy purposes, as evidenced most recently by four double-digit fantasy point performances over his last 10 games. He's been wielding a hot bat in August overall with a .370 average and .407 wOBA over his last 26 games. Padres starter Edwin Jackson makes for a good target, as he's surrendered a .404 wOBA, 6.25 xFIP and 33.3 percent hard contact rate to lefty bats outside of Petco Park.
