Cavaliers Face Off With Hornets
The Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Charlotte Hornets at Spectrum Center on Wednesday evening.

The Cavaliers (8-23) may be riddled with injuries to key players and an unsightly record, but it appears they're having fun sneaking up on quality opponents. The latest example of such came Tuesday night, when Cleveland scored a 92-91 upset victory over the Indiana Pacers on a Larry Nance, Jr. game-winning tip-in at the buzzer. Rodney Hood led the way with 17 points, a total he supplemented with six rebounds, two assists and two steals. Nance finished with 15 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, three steals and one block. Alec Burks poured in 14 points and added five boards off the bench, while Cedi Osman and Collin Sexton tallied 13 and 12 points, respectively.

The Cavaliers will likely list Jordan Clarkson (rest/back) as questionable for Wednesday's game, while Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson will remain out with their respective foot injuries.

The Hornets (14-15) have been as inconsistent as their record implies, an issue that's even extended to their home floor on occasion. In fact, the two straight losses they'll come into Wednesday with have both occurred at Spectrum Center, with the latest an embarrassing 128-100 shellacking at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night. Malik Monk paced the Hornets off the bench with 19 points, a total he supplemented with five rebounds and one assist. Miles Bridges posted 17 points, three rebounds and two blocks. Jeremy Lamb poured in 12 points and added five boards. Willy Hernangomez collected 11 points, six rebounds and one assist. Kemba Walker mustered just four points on 2-for-13 shooting.

The Hornets will come into Wednesday's game at full health.

The season series between the clubs is currently tied at 1-1, with each team having scored a double-digit victory thus far.
