The San Antonio Spurs play host to the Denver Nuggets, at AT&T Center on Saturday evening.
This marks the second game of a back-to-back for the Nuggets (22-20), who are coming off a solid home win over the Grizzlies on Friday. Gary Harris (personal) missed the last contest and remains questionable for action on Saturday. The Nuggets have lost their last three games on the road, where they are 7-15 this season. Trey Lyles has been a pleasant surprise for Denver, as he has picked up his game, averaging 17.3 points and 7.9 rebounds per game over his last 10 games. Jamal Murray has also been hot over his last 10 games, averaging 18.6 points and 3.6 assists per game. The Nuggets average 107 points per game, which is in the top 10 in the NBA.
Meanwhile, despite dealing with a whole bunch of injuries, the Spurs (28-15) have won six of their last 10 games. Rudy Gay (heel) will remain sideline, while Kawhi Leonard (shoulder), Tony Parker (ankle) and Danny Green (groin) are questionable for action on Saturday. LaMarcus Aldridge has been strong all season for the Spurs, averaging 22.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Pau Gasol averages 10.6 points and 8.2 rebounds this season, while Manu Ginobili has turned it up lately, averaging 16.8 points no 62 percent shooting, through four games in January. The Spurs maintain one of the best defenses in the league, holding opponents to just 98.3 points per game.
