RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams-Goss is still nursing a sore ankle ahead of Monday's National Championship Game, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.

Williams-Goss' ankle will surely be a major topic of conversation as Monday's championship bout inches closer. The junior guard has been a catalyst all season long for the Bulldogs averaging 16.9 PPG, 5.9 RPG and 4.7 APG. It's almost assured that he'll play through the injury but there are still some lingering concerns regarding how effective he can be with all the swelling. It would be a huge shock if Williams-Goss was to be limited Monday, but if for some reason he suffers any setbacks the most likely candidates to fill his void would be Jordan Mathews and Silas Melson.

Williams-Goss turned his ankle during the second half of the the win over South Carolina in the Final Four on Saturday. He led the Bulldogs with 23 points (9-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six assists, and five rebounds.

Williams-Goss hit a number of tough shots in the first half as the Bulldogs forged a nice lead. The junior guard cooled off in the second half and the Gamecocks came back. He did not miss any playing time after turning his ankle, but the injury should be monitored Monday against North Carolina. The 6-3 guard could be matched up against the similarly hobbled Joel Berry. Williams-Goss did miss a Feb. 4 win over Santa Clara with an ankle injury.

Williams-Goss led the Bulldogs to their first Final Four with 23 points (7-19 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 5-8 FT), eight rebounds, and four assists during the win over Xavier on Saturday.

The 6-3 junior has struggled from the field in the NCAA Tournament. Through four wins, Williams-Goss is converting just 31.1 percent of his field goals, but has managed to average 15.5 points via volume and the ability to get to the line. Xavier will play the winner of the Florida-South Carolina match-up next Saturday. Williams-Goss had 14 points in the win over the Gators on Nov. 25.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams-Goss had 10 points, seven rebounds, and three steals in Thursday's narrow win over West Virginia.

Although Williams-Goss had an uncharacteristically cold shooting night Thursday, Gonzaga still managed to pull off the win and advance to the Elite Eight. He was just 2-of-10 from the floor and he committed five turnovers against two assists. While Gonzaga has survived Williams-Goss' lackluster shooting thus far in the tournament (28.6 FG%), the Bulldogs will need him to get back into rhythm offensively if they are going to advance to the Final Four.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Williams-Goss is dealing with an ankle injury, but will play in Thursday's game against Loyola Marymount, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Williams-Goss was held out of Saturday's game against Santa Clara, but after some additional time off for rest and recovery, he's expected to give it a go Thursday. Barring any late setbacks, Williams-Goss should take on his normal role with the top unit, as he's started all 23 games he's played in this season. Williams-Goss is the Bulldogs' leading scorer at 15.6 points per game, so his addition back in the lineup should provide a nice offensive spark.
