Although this was a largely up-and-down season for Nova, he turned in his third four-touchdown performance of the year Saturday against Maryland as he led the Scarlet Knights to the biggest comeback in school history. He started the comeback effort by squeezing a pass through a tight window to Andre Patton late in the first half to cut into Maryland's lead. Nova finished the regular season with 20 touchdown passes, which placed him third in the Big Ten.

Nova received high grades for his performance in the spring, and he did show some potential last year as he threw for 397 yards and five touchdowns against Arkansas in September. He showed his dark side not long afterward, however, throwing six interceptions against Kent State on Oct. 27. Nova should be more consistent as a junior this year and could be a good QB in AAC-only leagues, but he otherwise is likely just a player to monitor.
