Epps was dismissed from Idaho on Monday, Brett McMurphy of ESPN reports.

ANALYSIS
Epps was removed from the team Monday after being suspended indefinitely on Oct. 26 for allegedly slapping his girlfriend. The dismissal has opened up the door for fellow receivers Buck Cowan, Callen Hightower, and Deon Watson to pick up after the productive Epps, who lead the team in receiving yards despite playing in only six games.

Epps missed the 2014 season due to legal issues and remains an apparent headcase, but his eligibility was reinstated for 2015. Epps is a dynamic talent in an extremely uptempo offense, and in 2013 he caught 77 passes for 971 yards and four touchdowns. If Epps plays in 2015, as fully expected, he should catch fire.

Epps likely would have been a productive player for Idaho in 2014, but he was kicked off the team in July.
