Arrested on assault charge
Chung and Hawaii lineup Jahlani Tavai were both arrested Saturday for third-degree assault relating to an alleged incident that occurred at a Honolulu nightclub, David McCracken of Hawaii News Now reports.

According to police records, Chung and Tavai got involved in an altercation with a man after the man allegedly pushed a woman to the ground. Police are continuing to investigate the incident and have yet to formally charge either player for the misdemeanor crime. Chung, an incoming redshirt senior, appeared in 11 games in 2017, logging three starts as a H-back. He only recorded one reception for 37 yards, but was a key contributor on the Rainbow Warriors' special-teams units.
