Past Fantasy Outlooks
2013
2012
Despite leading the team in receptions (54) and receiving yards (603) last season, Peace finished with just two touchdowns. Six other Houston players had more touchdowns than Peace, but that can be expected from a spread passing attack like the Cougars’. Peace will be back as quarterback David Piland’s No. 1 option in the passing game, and considering the amount Houston throws the ball (40-plus attempts per game last season), that’s no small consideration. Keep in mind, however, that the team does spread it around and former USC wide receiver Markeith Ambles will be eligible this fall.
In an endless list of potential wideout candidates for Houston, Peace is actually one of the most proven heading into 2012. But since that comes in the form of just 13 catches, that’s not saying a whole lot. So like all of them, Peace is a boom-or-bust selection. But he is worth a late gamble in most formats, because the upside is so high if he does win a prominent role.
