Lexington Thomas
Running BackRB
UNLV Rebels
2018 Fantasy Outlook
Thomas was quietly one of the top rushers on a per-game basis last season, averaging 111.3 yards per game en route to a 1,336-yard season that featured 17 touchdowns. He's back for his final season and will be the focal point of an offense that ran it 61.5 percent of the time in 2017 – good enough for 25th in the nation. It's fair to carry some concerns regarding Thomas' durability as an undersized back, but he held up well to 211 carries last year. Furthermore, quarterback Armani Rogers dual-threat ability helps prevent defenses for keying solely on Thomas. Read Past Outlooks
Held in check in upset win
RBUNLV
November 26, 2018
Thomas carried the ball 16 times for 41 yards and caught two of three targets for 40 yards and a touchdown Saturday against Nevada.
ANALYSIS
This performance was somewhat of a letdown after two consecutive two-touchdown showings. However, Thomas still managed to find the end zone on a 38-yard pitch-and-catch in the second quarter. His 2.6 yards per carry was his lowest mark of the season in that category, but he still finished the season as a 1000-yard rusher with 12 rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown to his name.
