2018 Fantasy Outlook
Fine took a big step forward in 2017, playing in his first full season under center. He passed for 4,052 yards along with 31 touchdowns and a 63.4 percent completion percentage. Fine has the starting job locked down for the upcoming season, and he'll also have his top weapons, Michael Lawrence and Jalen Guyton returning at wideout. Fine figures to see plenty of opportunities to make plays, as a part of an offensive unit that averaged 297 passing yards and 38 passing attempts per game in 2017. Read Past Outlooks
Exits bowl game

December 15, 2018
Fine (lower body) won't return to Saturday's New Mexico Bowl game against Utah State, Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle reports.
ANALYSIS
Fine's absence for the remainder of Saturday's game will likely dash any hopes the Mean Green had of making up a large deficit against the Aggies early in the contest. The issue looked to be to the hamstring, though the team hasn't officially released details on it. North Texas has tried out multiple options under center, but none of them, unsurprisingly, have measured up to Fine's standard. Fine completed 8 of 12 passes for 59 yards and added a nine-yard run to his ledger before departing.
