RBFlorida International
January 9, 2019
Williams announced via Twitter that he has transferred to Florida International.
ANALYSIS
Williams spent last season at Arkansas, where he rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns on 57 carries during his redshirt freshman season, although most of his significant playing time came in one game early against North Texas. He'll look for more chances at Florida International, where he'll have to sit out a season per NCAA rules. Once he is eligible to play, his biggest challenge to playing time seems to be D'Vonte Price, who will be entering his senior season when Williams can first suit up.

Pushing for role as true freshman
RBArkansas
April 14, 2017
Williams is expected to have a role as a true freshman in 2017, Trent Shadid of the AJC's SEC Country Blog reports. "Whether it be special teams or getting a few carries here and there. But he's going to force us to have to play him just by what he's shown us so far on the practice field," said running back coach Reggie Mitchell.
