Kasim Hill
QuarterbackQB
Maryland Terrapins
Questionable
Injury Knee
2018 Fantasy Outlook
Hill lost out on the starting job to Tyrrell Pigrome when the team broke fall camp last season. However, Pigrome suffered a torn ACL in the season opener against Texas, opening the door early in the campaign for the freshman signal-caller. Hill performed well in relief against Texas and had little issue the following week against Towson, but he too suffered a season-ending torn ACL in Week 3 versus UCF and missed all of spring practice because of the injury. Despite his absence in the spring, Hill is expected to be healthy and ready to battle for the starting gig again this fall. He and Pigrome figure to compete again in 2018, though the eventual winner will not have the services of D.J. Moore, the first wide receiver off the board in the 2018 NFL Draft. Read Past Outlooks

February 8, 2019
Hill (knee) has entered him name into the transfer portal, Matt Zenitz of AL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hill was the starting quarterback for the Terrapins for most of last season, until he tore his ACL late in the year against Indiana. The announcement comes just days after Maryland shocked many and signed four-star recruit Lance LeGendre, who seems to be the quarterback of the future at Maryland. Hill still has the option to return for the last two years of his eligibility, but he'd likely have to compete against LeGendre, Max Bortenschlager (arm) and Tyrrell Pigrome if he wants any chance of resuming his starting role.
