Season officially over
December 6, 2019
Taylor (leg) will not be able to return this season after suffering a right leg injury in the win over Minnesota last Saturday, Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Taylor reeled in a pass near the sideline in the second quarter against Minnesota and without being touched, immediately fell to the ground in pain holding his right leg/knee area. There hasn't been a specific designation as to what the injury is that he suffered, but it is significant enough to keep him out for the Big Ten Championship and whichever bowl game the Badgers end up in. With 2019 being his senior year, Taylor's collegiate career is officially over. He finished with 89 catches for 1,316 yards and 10 touchdowns during his time as a Badger. Aron Cruickshank should see some increased reps on the field as a result of Taylor's injury.
