In line for lead role in 2019

Achilles
March 15, 2019
Ball State plans to deploy Huntley (Achilles) as its feature back in 2019, Ryan O'Gara of The Muncie Star Press reports.
ANALYSIS
The Cardinals lost their top returning back earlier in the offseason when James Gilbert transferred to Kansas State, so Huntley is the next man up to fill the No. 1 spot on the depth chart. The 5-foot-10, 222-pound junior played in only six of the Cardinals' 12 games in 2018, missing the back half of the schedule while tending to an Achilles injury. Prior to getting hurt, he averaged 4.9 yards per carry over 38 attempts, so he could have some fantasy appeal if he maintains that level of efficiency over what should be a huge uptick in his volume of touches. Ball State also returns Malik Dunner (66 carries for 305 yards and four touchdowns last season) for 2019, but he's slated to see most of his snaps at wideout and therefore isn't expected to see a major spike in involvement as a runner.
