Set for part-time receiving gig
WRSouth Carolina
April 7, 2019
Urich will be at least a part-time wide receiver in 2019, Josh Kendall of The State reports.
ANALYSIS
In a crowded quarterback room that features star senior Jake Bentley and rising freshmen Dakereon Joyner and Ryan Hilinski, Urich was extremely doubtful to see many snaps there. But coaches want to get his athleticism on the field and have set about doing so by putting him with the wide receivers. It paid dividends at Saturday's spring game, where he led all receivers with nine catches for 130 yards, so it stands to reason that he'll be the target on some pass plays once the real season begins.
