Concussion
June 8, 2019
Kier's absence from Virginia's spring game in April was the result of a concussion, The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
It's not clear where Kier currently stands in his recovery from the head injury, but the expectation is that he'll be free of any restrictions by the time fall camp opens in August. The six-foot, 230-pound junior is considered the favorite to replace the departed Jordan Ellis as Virginia's top back in 2019, but Kier's lack of activity during the spring may have prevented him from gaining separation on the depth chart from Wayne Taulapapa.
