Set to leave Colorado

Blackmon entered the NCAA's transfer portal Friday with the intention of leaving Colorado, Kyle Rowland of The Toledo Blade reports.
ANALYSIS
Listed as a cornerback during his time at Colorado, Blackmon made his biggest impact in 2018 as the Buffaloes' top punt returner, leading the Pac-12 with 262 return yards. According to the report, Blackmon didn't earn his degree at Colorado but plans to pursue a waiver from the NCAA allowing him to play in both 2019 and 2020 without having to sit out a year. He's already secured representation from Tom Mars, a lawyer who has successfully earned immediate eligibility for the likes of high-profile transfers such as Ohio State's Justin Fields and Michigan's Shea Patterson, among others. Blackmon, who has drawn interest from Toledo, Oklahoma, Florida State and Central Florida, intends to play wide receiver and return both kicks and punts at his next school.
