Florida Atlantic announced Dec. 15 that Joseph signed with the program as a transfer from Tennessee.
ANALYSIS
As a first-time transfer, Joseph will be available to play for the Owls right away in 2022. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker appeared in 12 total games for Tennessee over two seasons -- 10 in 2020 and two in 2021 -- while recording three tackles and one sack. Because he qualified for redshirt by playing four games or fewer in 2021 and because all players get a free year of eligibility for 2020 due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on that season, Joseph should have four years of eligibility at his disposal.
