Arkin announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Illinois, joining the program as a transfer from Colorado State.
ANALYSIS
After appearing in two games during his first season at Colorado State in 2021 and taking a redshit, Arkin saw action in all 12 of the Rams' contests in 2022, logging a 14-116-0 receiving line on 18 targets while stepping in as Colorado State's top tight end following the departure of Mackey Award winner Trey McBride for the NFL. The Rams will be looking for a new top tight end in 2023 while Arkin makes the jump to the Big Ten with three years of eligibility at his disposal.
