ANALYSIS
Jenkins' has really suffered from Nathan Scheelhaase's poor play this season. Luckily, Jenkins was virtually the only receiver Scheelhaase targeted, so he stayed fantasy relevant. Jenkins finishes the year with 84 receptions, 1,196 yards, and a seven touchdowns.

Jenkins was a bit inconsistent in Illinois’ run-heavy spread and will likely remain that way to some extent, but he’s a talented player and the favorite target of rising star quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase. Jenkins finished last year with 22 catches for 288 yards and three touchdowns in Illinois' final four games. With Scheelhaase entering his second year as starter, Jenkins should build on that ending to 2010.
The Illini passing game lost its best downfield threat with Arrelious Benn going to the NFL. Jenkins was an excellent recruit out of Florida, but only caught 21 passes in his first two season and was surrounded by rumors that he would transfer. Although he doesn’t posses great size, he has blazing speed with excellent cutting ability, and was one of the starts of the off-season. He has a tremendous upside and is poised for a breakout season. The Illini certainly hope that he makes great strides this year to replace the lost production from Benn.
