Lands at JUCO program
McZeal transferred to Garden City Community College earlier in May, Brian Perroni of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
McZeal first indicated he planned on leaving Texas A&M prior to spring ball, but stuck around in College Station to complete the semester. After converting to tight end during his first year on campus in 2017, McZeal failed to see the field as a redshirt freshman with the Aggies last season and elected to head elsewhere in pursuit of playing time. He'll have three years of eligibility left as he heads to the JUCO school and could resurface at another FBS program as soon as 2020. It's unclear if he intends to play tight end at Garden City or if he's switch back to the receiver role he handled during his prep days.
