Sorensen has retired from international cricket, ESPN Cric Info reports.
ANALYSIS
The Irish allrounder notched 13 ODI caps and 26 T20I appearances for his country; however, he hasn't appeared in more than a year, making his last appearance in June 2016 against Sri Lanka in at ODI at Malahide. Shoulder injuries have forced him into a specialist batsman role, one that saw him record an unbeaten 98 in a domestic T20 in June; however, he has decided to look beyond cricket for the future. He finishes as Ireland's sixth-leading T20I wicket-taker with 26 in 22 innings.
