ANALYSIS
Kumar was a Mumbai regular for much of the tournament, which was a tale of two halves. During his first eight appearances, he toppled only two wickets in 26.3 overs with an accompanying 8.15 economy rate. His fortunes tilted in the aforementioned five-game stretch, though, when he struck every 20.4 balls in spite of an elevated 8.94 economy. While his best figures occurred in Qualifier 1 versus the Super Kings (two for 26 off three overs) en route to the title, his lack of presence on the squads for June's tour of Bangladesh will contain the 31-year-old's next outings to the domestic domain.
