Ricci is a super pest and nothing more than that at this stage of his career. He is buried on the depth chart as there are excellent skaters at every forward position. His knack for creating chaos on the ice will be used, but he will not chip in more than the occasional goal or assist.
Ricci signed as a free agent before the start of the lockout. He was brought in for his leadership and as a defensive forward, as his number days (what little there were) seem to be over as he heads into his 15th NHL season.
