Jonathan-Ismael Diaby

Diaby, who turns 20 this year, possesses great size (6-4, 220) along with a nasty edge that makes him a punishing force on the blue line. Combined with good natural talents and skating ability, he will be a nice addition to the Preds' roster someday, although likely as more of a stay-at-home defender rather than someone who can join the rush. We expect Diaby, who just signed an three-year, entry-level contract with Nashville in January, to open the season at AHL Milwaukee.
