Four points this season
LWNew York Islanders
April 14, 2019
Johnston finished the regular season with a goal, three assists and a rating of plus-3 in 17 games.
ANALYSIS
Johnston, who's yet to play for the team in the postseason, was only used when coach Barry Trotz thought his physical presence was needed or when injuries left the coach with little to no choice but to insert the enforcer into the lineup. Johnston will likely return to the Islanders in a similar role next season.

Stanley Cup Playoffs: Player Rankings Cheat Sheet

Jan Levine's fantasy playoff cheat sheet ranks skaters and goalies in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Should Tampa Bay's Andrei Vasilevskiy be the top goalie in your playoff leagues?
Past Fantasy Outlooks
2018
2014
For his first significant NHL action in 2017-18, Johnston displayed an old-school quality as an enforcer and contributed a little on the scoresheet. In 24 games, he tallied three goals and six points while racking up 46 hits and an incredible 62 PIM. The 24-year-old recorded four fighting majors, and his 2.58 PIM-per-game average ranked sixth-highest in the league. With the enforcer role dying in the NHL, there's no guarantee Johnston will consistently play this season, but keep an eye on him after the draft. In the event of injuries to the Islanders forward core, Johnston will average approximately 0.25 points per game while adding a ton of PIM to any fantasy lineup.
