Demoted Sunday
RWOttawa Senators  Minors
October 13, 2019
The Senators sent Abramov down to AHL Belleville on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The 21-year-old got the call last week, and notched his first career goal against the Blues in his first career game. Abramov only averaged 5:47 of ice time through two games, so his demotion was likely coming. Now that Abramov has been demoted, look for Mikkel Boedker to draw back into the lineup at left wing.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
The 20-year-old will begin his pro career in 2018-19 after an outstanding junior tenure that saw him become the highest-scoring import player in QMJHL history, finishing with 129 goals and 301 points in 185 games. Abramov is undersized at 5-9 and 171 pounds, but he more than makes up for it with electric speed, soft hands and an uncanny knack for finding and exploiting open ice. He'll likely start the season at AHL Cleveland, proving that he's tough enough to handle himself among men and not boys, but once he acclimates to the more physical style of play, don't be surprised if he's pushing for a promotion to the Blue Jackets' roster very quickly.
