Francis Pare

Pare had a strong season at Grand Rapids (AHL) with 47 points (23 G, 24 A) in 61 games for the Griffins. He'll likely need another season or so in the minors before the Wings will consider working him into the mix for time on the third or fourth line. Pare has shown plenty of potential tickling the twine during his career thus far, particularly in 2007-08 when he potted 54 goals in 69 games with Chicoutimi of the QMJHL. He'll try to polish his game with the Griffins for a second season in Grand Rapids this time around, but Pare as an intriguing long-term prospect to keep an eye on.
