Jamie Rivers

Good versatile, all-around defenseman who can quarterback the PP if needed, but the Blues already have enough blueliners who can handle that role. Could be the fifth or sixth defenseman for the team this season but offers little by way of fantasy value.

He's be a top six defensman in some other cities, and a top four guy on weaker teams, but the Red Wings are loaded on the blue line and with that, Rivers won't be needed much, if at all, in 2005-06. A cut or a trade is a possibility.
