Delisle, who was acquired by the Rangers from Columbus in July in the Rick Nash deal, went back to Columbus on Wednesday in the Marian Gaborik trade, Blueshirts United reports.
ANALYSIS
Delisle hasn't shown much offensive ability in the minors. He's spent most of this season with Greenville of the ECHL, and will slot in at the ECHL or AHL level once more for the Jackets, who drafted him in the fourth round in 2008.

Delisle, a physical blue line prospect was dealt to the Rangers in the Rick Nash trade, then sent back to Columbus in the Marian Gaborik swap. He's still a long way from the NHL, however.
Delisle is a young defenseman that could eventually develop into a steady stay-at-home type, but he's a long way from the NHL.
Physical defenseman likely won't be more than minor league depth, but his size makes him interesting if he can add some skill to the mix.
Physical defense prospect needs some seasoning before being ready for the NHL.
