Ondrej Pavelec (G) Atlanta – (Concussion) No timetable for a return after scary collapse.
Jamal Mayers (F) San Jose – (Upper Body) Didn't play in Europe, missed practice, questionable.

Jassen Cullimore (D) Chicago – Recalled from AHL.

John-Michael Liles (D) Colorado – The forward heavy Avs need someone to take shots and Liles leads the NHL with six assists in four games. He's a good play until he gets hurt, which he always seems to do.
Clarke MacArthur (F) Toronto – Averaged better than a point per game in Buffalo's AHL system, but never seemed to get consistent ice with the Sabres. After a 21-game layover with Atlanta, MacArthur is lighting it up in Toronto. It will be interesting to see how much rope he's given with the Maple Leafs, once he cools off, but for now he's a good play. His production is not a total mirage.
Patrick Sharp (F) Chicago – Sharp scored two goals on 13 shots Friday night – that's more shots than Joe Thornton takes in a month. Sharp collected 66 points last year and should revisit those numbers.
Kari Lehtonen (G) Dallas – Lehtonen has three wins in three starts as the Stars have surprised just about everyone. If you can deal with the potential for injury, then Lehtonen's your man.
Jonathan Quick (G) Los Angeles – Quick isn't ceding the starter's job to fellow Jonathan (Bernier), leading the NHL with three wins, 0.97 GAA and .963 save percentage.

Marc-Andre Fleury (G) Pittsburgh – Fleury sports a well-deserved 0-3 record. On the bright side, he holds a 19-7 career mark against Saturday's opponent, the Flyers. He had a decent preseason, but it looks like his confidence is still shaken following a disappointing playoff performance. Fleury is good bet to get 35-40 wins with mediocre peripherals. He might be an affordable buy-low candidate.
Tim Connolly (F) Buffalo – He rode the bench for a portion of Friday's game and has only two points through five games and four home losses. Connolly's always been money when healthy and he might also become a buy-low candidate.

Recommended Pickup

Dustin Brown (F) Los Angeles – Get him before the rest of your league realizes his added value in the hits category. Brown finished second in hits last year with 287. He was the only player to record 50 points to finish among the top 14 hitters in the league. He also took 248 shots, good for 28th most in the NHL.
