This article is part of our FanDuel NHL series.
There's just a single game in the NHL on Monday, but FanDuel's contests also include Tuesday's two games. Pittsburgh and Ottawa will look to grab the coveted 3-0 series lead in their respective matchups, while Nashville can take a 3-1 lead with a win Tuesday. Here are a number of selections across multiple price ranges to consider while assembling your lineups.
GOALIE
Pekka Rinne, NAS vs. STL ($8,800): With a .950 save percentage and 1.38 GAA, it's no wonder Rinne has won six of seven playoff games. Additionally, with St. Louis generating a league-low 5.66 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes at five-on-five during the postseason, Rinne's been able to pile up easy saves in Round 2.
CENTER
Evgeni Malkin, PIT vs. WAS (8,700): The postseason scoring leader is up to 13 points and 19 shots through seven games while averaging 18:40 of ice time (3:30 with the man advantage) per contest. Washington has allowed the most goals per game (3.13) of any team remaining in the playoffs, too.
Mika Zibanejad, NYR vs. OTT ($5,700): The 24-year-old center has been buzzing during the postseason -- he's been on the ice for the most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes (10.64) at five-on-five among all Ranger forwards. The results have added up of late: Zibanejad's posted a goal and four helpers while marking the scoresheet in three of the past four games.
WING
Alex Ovechkin, WAS vs. PIT ($8,500): The Penguins have the worst Corsi For percentage at five-on-five (42.14) of any playoff team and second-worst adjusted CF% (44.58) while allowing a hefty 11.77 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes. Ovechkin has a goal, two assists and six shots through the first two games of the series, and he should have another solid outing with the fear of a 0-3 series deficit looming.
Phil Kessel, PIT at WAS ($7,600): With four multi-point showings through seven playoff games, Kessel is turning in another strong spring. He's up to four goals, 11 points and 25 shots while averaging a hefty 3:23 of power-play time per game, and there's still plenty of value in his salary. Don't forget, he's now posted 27 goals and 54 points over 53 career postseason games.
Chris Kreider, NYR vs. OTT ($5,200): A strong stack option alongside Zibanejad, Kreider scored his first goal of the playoffs Saturday, and he combined with the Swedish pivot for 3.25 goals per 60 minutes at five-on-five in the regular season. The winger also provides a respectable fantasy floor after registering nine shots through the first two games of the series.
DEFENSE
Ryan McDonagh, NYR at OTT ($5,700): The Blueshirts' No. 1 defenseman in all situations remains a strong option. McDonagh has collected a goal, four assists, 11 shots and 17 blocked shots over his past five games, showcasing his high-floor, high-ceiling combo. He's logged 27:39 of ice time (3:00 with the man advantage) per game during the postseason, too.
Dmitry Orlov, WAS at PIT ($3,500): Without a point over his past four games, this is a rebound spot for Orlov. He opens up spending room for high-priced forwards while still offering some upside. Orlov has posted a team-best 1.11 points per 60 minutes at five-on-five among all Washington defensemen over the past two years, and he also moves the needle in the shots and blocked-shots columns.
