Goalie
Frederik Andersen, TOR vs VAN ($8,400): Over his last five games, Andersen has scored at least 19.8 fantasy points in all but one start. The Canucks aren't an imposing offensive team by averaging just 2.65 goals per game, good for 25th in the NHL. Andersen looks to be the safest play at the position, with the Maple Leafs expected to take care of business at home.
Center
Brayden Point, TB at OTT ($5,600): Ottawa played one of their best games of the season Friday night by scoring six goals in a thrilling come-from-behind overtime win. Point has points in four of his last six contests, with three goals in his last four against Ottawa. He's seeing enough power-play time and will go up against a struggling penalty kill with a considerably cheaper cost than the high-dollar guys on Tampa's top line.
Derek Stepan, ARI vs NYR ($5,700): Stepan once again faces his former team tonight, and he's been playing great of late with points in four of his last five outings, including two goals and three assists. Stepan should do well this evening, as he skates on the first line and top power-play unit.
Wing
Gabriel Landeskog, COL vs MIN ($5,900): Prior to his last two scoreless games, Landeskog netted points in six of seven. In their last three versus the Wild, each of the Avalanche top trio of Landeskog, Nathan MacKinnon, and Mikko Rantanen have found the score sheet.
William Nylander, TOR vs VAN ($5,900): In a game that should see a lot of scoring, Nylander has been excelling with five points in his last seven games. After a poor start, the young Swede has found his groove on the first line and top power-play unit with eight goals and 21 assists on the season, six of these points coming on the man-advantage.
Dustin Brown, LAK vs NSH ($5,600): With 15 goals, 17 assists, and seven power-play points, Brown has been a fixture alongside Anze Kopitar. The Predators have been stingy defensively, but the Kings are averaging four goals over their last three and have quietly been one of the better teams in the Western Conference.
Defense
Ryan Suter, MIN at COL ($5,400): Suter faces a favorable matchup tonight against the Avalanche, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to defensemen over the last four weeks. He has points in two of his last three against them and should add to his totals tonight. Suter sees plenty of ice time and has racked up eight of his 24 points on the power play.
Jake Muzzin, LAK vs NSH ($4,500): The Predators have allowed a lot of production to defensemen all season, especially in the last month. In their last 12 games, Nashville has allowed three goals and 28 assists to blueliners, which just happens to be the same as Muzzin's current point totals.
