After taking a loss in his last fight against Aori Qileng via unanimous decision at UFC 278, Perrin's UFC record sits at 0-2. He likely will be desperate for a win against Rosas in order to stick around much longer.

ANALYSIS
Statistically, Perrin won the significant striking battle 88 to 72 and recorded three takedowns to Aoriqileng's zero, but this was still the correct decision, as Aoriqileng's shots did much more damage in Rounds 1 and 2. Perrin started a bit slow and ate several big knees, which continued to be an issue for him into the second frame. On the bright side, Perrin's cardio held up, and he was able to record 48 significant strikes to his opponent's 25 to take Round 3. He even had Aoriqileng rattled with a few late flurries, but it wasn't enough to make up for the slow start. Perrin deserved this opportunity after filling in on short notice against Mario Bautista back in February, but he's now 0-2 with the UFC and finds himself in must-win territory his next time out.
