Tarashaj has rejoined Everton after his season-long loan spell with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Tarashaj was not in the 18-man squad that lost 3-0 to Bayern Munich on Saturday due to an undisclosed injury.

Tarashaj had his tonsils removed and will be out for the next two weeks.

Tarashaj scored a goal on two shots, played one key pass, and won one aerial duel before coming off in the 60th minute of Friday's 3-0 win against Hamburger SV.

Tarashaj came off the bench once for Switzerland in Euro 2016 and takes his international tally to five caps with no goals yet. Switzerland finished 1-1 with Poland in regular and over-time of their Round of 16 clash Saturday but were knocked out of the finals after 5-4 penalty shoot-out.
