Dylan Axelrod, Reds - Homer Bailey's flexor mass creates a hole in the Reds rotation that initially was filled by Axelrod, who was promoted to start Sunday for Cincinnati. Axelrod has posted a respectable 3.06 ERA in five starts since joining Triple-A Louisville in mid-July, but he's posted a 5.36 ERA at the major league level. Archie Bradley, Diamondbacks - Bradley may get a chance to show his wares in the big leagues, as Arizona manager Kirk Gibson said he might go to a six-man rotation in September. Bradley got off to a horrific start, posted a 5.18 ERA and 43 strikeouts over five starts at Triple-A Reno to begin the season and his poor numbers might have been due to his elbow woes that ultimately landed him on the disabled.
