PITCHER
Mike Leake, STL at MIL ($6,600): Leake has really turned things around after a forgettable start to his Cardinals tenure, scoring between 30 and 48 fantasy points in his last four starts, and sporting a 2.18 ERA and 0.94 WHIP over five May starts. While the veteran righty is not a true strikeout artist, the free-swinging Brewers can give anyone a temporary boost in that department, as they've struck out a league-worst 27.2 percent of the time against that handedness. Leake didn't figure into the decision against Milwaukee back in his second start of the season, but he didn't pitch badly, giving up four runs over six innings while striking out six. He seems to be much more settled in now, as he's rattled off four straight quality starts, including three on the road.
CATCHER
Stephen Vogt, OAK vs. MIN ($2,400): Vogt's price has dropped considerably since earlier in the season, and he's always under consideration when up against anything less than a stellar righty. The inexperienced Tyler Duffy certainly fits the bill, as he's surrendered a .372 wOBA and 37.2 percent hard contact rate to lefty bats this season. Meanwhile, Vogt has a .315 wOBA and all four of his homers against right-handed pitching, and the latter figure climbs to .376 when facing that handedness at home.
FIRST BASE
Freddie Freeman, ATL vs. SFG ($2,900): Freeman draws a matchup against the erratic Jake Peavy, who is sporting a massive 7.26 ERA and an unsightly 1.78 WHIP. He's surrendered a .474 wOBA and 46.4 percent hard contact rate to lefty bats as well, with the wOBA at .507 when facing them on the road. Freeman has five of his eight homers on the season against right-handed pitching, as well as a 32.1 percent hard contact rate.
SECOND BASE
Devon Travis, TOR vs. NYY ($2,200): Travis has been productive since returning to the field, hitting safely in all five games. He's also tallied a .393 wOBA over his 66 career at-bats against southpaws, along with a 31 percent hard contact rate. CC Sabathia has actually been tougher on righties this season but had yielded more to that handedness over his long career. At near minimum price and with a move up in the order imminent, Travis carries little risk and could provide a nice return.
THIRD BASE
Matt Carpenter, STL at MIL ($3,500): Carpenter has multiple factors in his favor against Wily Peralta, beginning with his personal history against the Brewers starter. Carpenter has slashed .457/.525/.829 over 35 career at-bats against Peralta, with four doubles, three homers, seven RBI and four walks. There's also Peralta's .378 wOBA and 33.3 percent hard contact rate against lefty bats, and Carpenter's .389 wOBA and stellar 47.9 percent hard contact rate against right-handed pitching. Finally, he also boasts a massive ceiling, as evidenced by 51.9 and 27.6 fantasy-point totals within the last 10 games.
SHORTSTOP
Eduardo Nunez, MIN at OAK ($3,400): Nunez, despite going hitless Monday, has a .343 wOBA against southpaws this season, while A's starter Eric Surkamp has yielded a .382 wOBA and 32.2 percent hard contact rate to right-handed hitters.
OUTFIELD
Matt Holliday, STL at MIL ($3,000): Holliday represents another opportunity to pick on Wily Peralta at a discount. Like Carpenter, Holliday has enjoyed going up against Peralta, slashing .357/.455/.571 against him over 28 career at-bats, with two homers, seven RBI and three walks. Holliday also has a .377 wOBA and eight of his nine homers on the season against right-handed pitching, while Peralta has somehow been even worse against righties than he has against left-handed hitters, allowing a .461 wOBA and six of his nine homers to right-handed bats, along with a 36.5 percent hard contact rate.
Michael Conforto, NYM vs. CWS ($3,300): Conforto has been quiet lately, which has brought his price down a few hundred dollars. He makes for a good tournament pivot off higher-priced options against Mat Latos, who's given up a .337 wOBA and five of his eight homers on the season to left-handed bats, along with a 5.84 FIP. Despite some recent struggles, Conforto has pounded right-handed pitching to the tune of a .425 wOBA, .317 ISO and massive 51.7 percent hard contact rate.
Brett Eibner, KC vs. TAM ($3,000): Eibner has been spectacular over his first three major league games, hitting .455 over his first 11 at-bats. It's an extension of his last two minor league campaigns, when he tallied .383 and .413 wOBAs, respectively. Eibner hasn't gone yard yet with the Royals, but he managed double-digit homers five times in the minors, and while Rays starter Drew Smyly has pitched better than his record indicates, the long ball has been his problem, giving up 11 homers over 62 innings, with eight of those coming at the hands of right-handed bats.
