PITCHER
Noah Syndergaard, NYM vs. PHI ($59): Syndergaard's scheduled start Wednesday was pushed back to Thursday and instead of being at the top of a poor pitching slate, he's at the top of a strong pitching slate. Through four starts this season, Syndergaard has a 1.73 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 26 innings. Atlanta has a top 10 wOBA against righties this season, but the Braves are also bottom five in K rate against righties. Syndergaard should get plenty of strikeouts against the Braves, and likely the win as well.
Kendall Graveman, OAK at LAA ($32): There are a lot of big names on the slate, but outside of Syndergaard, not a one has a good matchup and in those cases, I'd rather take a chance on someone less expensive and save some cap space for my hitting. Graveman has a decent matchup here as the Angels are bottom 10 in wOBA against righties this season and their strikeout rate is fairly high at 21.3 percent. Graveman missed one start due to a shoulder strain, but he appears fully healthy now and if he picks up where he left off, he should be fine. In his two starts prior to the shoulder strain, Graveman recorded 12 strikeouts in 13 innings and allowed just two runs.

CATCHER
Buster Posey, SF vs. LAD ($15): Whenever there is a lefty on the hill, you have to take a look at Posey. Julio Urias will make his first start of the season for the Dodgers and he'll hope to improve on some control issues that plagued him in the minors earlier this year. Posey is second among all catchers in wOBA against lefties this season at .564 and his eye at the plate should come into play here as well. Last season, he was second in BB rate against lefties among catchers with over 100 games played.
FIRST BASE
Matt Carpenter, STL vs. TOR ($18): The Cards were rained out Wednesday, but luckily the Blue Jays decided not to skip Mat Latos and with than in mind… Carpenter got off to a very slow start this season, but he's hit safely in seven of his past eight games and he gets a nice matchup here against Latos. The veteran has pitched poorly for quite a while now and while he's not much worse against lefties than he is righties, Carpenter is certainly better against righties than lefties. Carpenter ranks second on the Cardinals in wOBA against righties this season – even with a slow start.
SECOND BASE
Robinson Cano, SEA at DET ($19): Justin Verlander picked up this season where he left off in 2016, but his two most recent starts have left a lot to be desired. Though he was solid against lefties last season, he's been having issues with them this season. Opposing lefties have posted a .402 wOBA against Verlander this season through four starts. Cano is the lefty most likely to take advantage of Verlander's issues as he has the highest wOBA against righties this season among left-handed hitters in the Seattle lineup.
THIRD BASE
Jedd Gyorko, STL vs. TOR ($20): One start into the 2017 season, it appears as though Latos is still the same guy who's really struggled over the past few seasons. The Cardinals are certainly one team that is worthy of a stack and whether or not you stack, you should have Gyorko. He is off to a great start this season, averaging 7.3 fantasy points per game through 14 games. Gyorko is also leading the Cardinals in wOBA against righties this season at .464.
SHORTSTOP
Trea Turner, WAS at COL ($21): Turner has been on fire since his return from the DL. He has at least one hit in each of his five games since returning and he hit for the cycle Tuesday night. The matchup against Antonio Senzatela isn't a great one, as Senzatela has been very impressive this season, but Turner is locked in right now and he's at Coors Field. Turner has a healthy .379 wOBA against righties this season and he's proven very comfortable on the road with a .447 wOBA.
OUTFIELD
Yasmany Tomas, ARI vs. SD ($18): It's Jered Weaver's turn to take his medicine against the Diamondbacks in Arizona and if this game goes like the three before it, it's going to put a damper on what's been a decent start for the righty Weaver has been serviceable to this point in the season, but it's only a matter of time before it starts to fall apart as he hasn't looked like a major league pitcher for quite a while. While there are many Diamondbacks that could be targeted, I'm looking at Tomas, who has the highest wOBA against righties this season among the Diamondbacks.
Michael Brantley, CLE vs. HOU ($20): Mike Fiers takes the mound for the Astros and if his first three starts are any indication of what will happen in his fourth start, then he's going to surrender two more home runs. Fiers has given up six homers in just three starts this season and while he's managed to limit the damage otherwise, his HR rate is certainly troubling – or in this case, exciting. Brantley was out almost the entire 2016 season, but he's back in the groove and hitting like he was prior to last season. Brantley is third on the team with a wOBA of .419 against righties this season.
Jay Bruce, NYM vs. ATL ($18): Bruce continues to feast off righties this season as evidenced by his league leading wOBA of .542. Bruce faces R.A. Dickey and while this isn't a conventional righty-lefty matchup, there is some history between these two, which is pivotal when choosing players against a knuckleballer. In 13 official at-bats against Dickey, Bruce has five hits, including a home run. Dickey has been decent this season with a 3.86 ERA, but he just can't seem to get out of any game unscathed and if anyone is to get to him, it should be Bruce.
