Jazz and Nets Hook Up for Big Apple Battle
The Utah Jazz take on the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center on Tuesday night.

The Jazz (27-12) check into Tuesday's game riding high on a nine-game winning streak, one in which they've notched double-digit victories in four of the last five contests. Utah's most recent success came against the Washington Wizards, which they bested by a 127-116 score Sunday night. Bojan Bogdanovic paced the Jazz with 31 points, complementing them with three rebounds and three assists. Jordan Clarkson provided 23 points, three assists, two rebounds and two steals. Rudy Gobert generated a 21-point, 14-rebound double-double that also included two assists, two blocks and one steal. Joe Ingles poured in 20 points and also totaled nine assists, two rebounds and two steals. Emmanuel Mudiay registered 14 points, five boards and five assists.

The Jazz will list Donovan Mitchell (illness) as questionable for Tuesday's game, while Mike Conley (hamstring) will remain out.

The Nets (18-20) just recently snapped a seven-game losing streak, but they still come into Tuesday's game riding a wave of modest optimism. Not only has Brooklyn put together back-to-back wins, but it also commemorated the return of Kyrie Irving (shoulder) to the lineup in its most recent win, a 108-86 throttling of the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night. Irving led the way with 21 points on a career-high 90.9 percent shooting. Taurean Prince followed with 14 points and five boards. DeAndre Jordan and Caris LeVert generated matching 13-point contributions, with Jordan also pulling down eight rebounds. Joe Harris went for 11 points and seven rebounds, while Jarrett Allen managed a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double that also included two assists, one steal and one block.

The Nets will come into Tuesday's game without any short-term injuries to report.

Tuesday's game marks the second and final meeting between the teams this season. The Jazz hold a 1-0 series lead, having notched a 119-114 win Nov. 12.
