Jazz Cruise, Top Cavaliers To Win Third Straight Contest
The Utah Jazz defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 117-87, at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Tuesday evening.

The Jazz (7-4) were coming off back-to-back wins and kept the momentum going, as they have extended their winning streak to three contests following a dominant victory over the Cavaliers (5-7). Meanwhile, the Cavs have been stumbling of late due to a rash of injuries and they are now riding a three-game losing streak while dropping five of their last six games. Utah delivered a dominant performance and led the game practically from start to finish, jumping out to a 22-18 lead in the first quarter and not looking back since then. The Jazz also won the second quarter by a 27-18 score and extended that dominance in the second half as well, winning the final two quarters by 38-23 and 30-28, respectively. Utah didn't have problems to win this contest and the Jazz is clearly moving in the right direction following their recent results.

Donovan Mitchell paced the way for the Jazz with 27 points, four assists and three rebounds, while Bojan Bogdanovic chipped in with 20 points, two rebounds and three assists. Rudy Gobert only scored four points and has seen his offensive role diminish, but he still contributed with 10 rebounds. Mike Conley had 12 points, six rebounds and five assists, while Jordan Clarkson made his presence felt with 21 points off the bench.

The Cavaliers had a tough day offensively, as they shot just 38.9 percent from the field and 25.8 percent from three-point range. Cedi Osman led Cleveland with 17 points, and he was the only player who surpassed the 15-point mark. Damyean Dotson and Isaac Okoro each contributed 11 points, while Yogi Ferrell left his mark off the bench with 10 points as well.
