Warriors Defeat T'Wolves, 130-108
The Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves, 130-108, at Chase Center on Monday.

Golden State won this game in wire-to-wire fashion, thanks to a 34-23 first quarter. In fact, that allowed them to lead by at least six points for the final three quarters. The Warriors ended up shooting 49 percent from the field and 47 percent from three-point range while holding the Timberwolves to 42 percent from the field and 33 percent from long range. In addition, Golden State recorded 13 steals and 10 blocks while Minnesota had eight steals and five blocks. That can be attributed to the 18 turnovers forced by Golden State.

The Timberwolves (4-12) had to play this game without Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell, but Malik Beasley led the way here with 30 points and seven rebounds on 10-of-17 from the field. Jarred Vanderbilt totaled 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks. Naz Reid amassed 11 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks while Ricky Rubio accrued six points, four rebounds and 11 assists.

The Warriors (9-8) were led by Stephen Curry and his 36 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals. Andrew Wiggins generated 23 points, six rebounds, three steals and three blocks. Kelly Oubre compiled 14 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals while Draymond Green had 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.

These teams will actually run it back on Wednesday in a rematch.
