UFC debut scheduled
The UFC announced Sunday that Page is scheduled to face Kevin Holland in a welterweight fight at UFC 299 in Miami on March 9.
ANALYSIS
After becoming a free agent in July, Page took some time before signing with the UFC. With his first fight for the promotion, he is scheduled to compete against a ranked welterweight contender in Holland. After going 18-2 in Bellator, Page will look to prove how legitimate a fighter he is with competition against welterweights of the top MMA promotion.

Perfect record no more
Page lost to Douglas Lima via KO (punches) at 0:35 of Round 2 at Bellator 221 on Saturday in Rosemont, Illinois.
ANALYSIS
Page has officially been dealt his first professional loss while being knocked out of contention for the welterweight title in the process. Lima was the more patient striker in this one, as he waited for Page's explosive shots and effectively counted. A superman punch attempt in the first round resulted in Lima finishing in top position, which likely cost Page the first round. In the second, Page landed one of his leaping punches that appeared to hurt Lima, but again looked for the finishing blows too soon. While lunging forward, Lima kicked out Page's legs, and finished him with a right hand while he was attempting to stand up. Page is an exciting fighter that will still get high-profile bouts, but his quest for a title will fall short after the tournament semifinal exit. That honor will instead be up for grabs between the winner of Lima and a June 14 matchup between Rory MacDonald and Neiman Gracie.

Advances in welterweight tourney
Page defeated Paul Daley via unanimous decision (48-47, 48-47, 48-47) to advance to the semifinals of the Bellator Welterweight Tournament at Bellator 216 on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
What was expected to be a back-and-forth striking showcase turned into a matchup based primarily on grappling, much to the dismay of fight fans. Page was able to adjust to this game plan by Daley, and while he was taken down multiple times over the course of the bout, he ultimately landed the more powerful shots when the two were standing, including a few trademark knees. The momentum really started to turn Page's way in the fourth round, where he reversed position on one of Daley's takedowns and dealt out one of the more noteworthy beatings of the five-round affair He likely secured the victory in the fifth, when he was able to get Daley's back and go for a submission attempt while controlling position. MVP was the favorite in this fight and he cashed in for bettors, even if it was by a narrow margin. He's now ticketed for a date with Paul Daley in the tournament's semifinals.

Inks fresh deal with Bellator MMA
Page has signed a contract extension to remain with Bellator MMA, Brett Okamoto of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The specific financials of the deal were not disclosed, but the important part is that Page will now be under contract throughout the upcoming Bellator welterweight Grand Prix (and beyond). Look for the promotion to announce a fight for one of their top 170-pound contenders in the upcoming months. Page is just 31 years old, and is 13-0 as a professional. He's only fought once in the last two years, however, taking time off to participate in boxing matches. With a new deal under his belt, he should be able to shift his focus to the Bellator welterweight title.

Forces David Rickels to quit at Bellator 200
Page defeated David Rickels via Submission (punch) at 0:43 of Round 2 at Bellator 200 on Friday in London.
ANALYSIS
Page finally returned to Bellator after sitting out all of 2017. He took a step up in competition here and picked up the win impressively. After Page dominated the first round with his exotic striking, he came out looking for more in the second. Rickels tried to walk him down, but he ended up eating a hard punch that cut him. He tried to stop the fight himself and the referee agreed. Page looked impressive yet again, an fans will certainly want to see him finally take on his rival Paul Daley.
