Park and NDS Motorsports finished out the 2008 racing season ninth in championship points, with three Top-5 finishes and eight Top-10’s and plan to battle for NASCAR East Series championship once again in 2009, www.steve-park.com reports.

Park announced today on Sirius NASCAR Radio 128 that he has signed to run the full NASCAR Camping World East Series schedule with Waste Management as sponsor.

Park, whose last NASCAR race was in a Busch car at O'Reilly Raceway Park last August, was in the garage at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Friday knocking on doors in the hopes of finding a ride for 2007, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Whelen Engineering will no longer sponsor the No. 31 Marsh Racing Busch Series team driven by Park, as Whelen has stepped up its sponsorship in NASCAR, sponsoring the All American Series, jayski.com reports.

Park will be back in the No. 31 Whelen Engineering Monte Carlo for 10 select races during the 2006 Busch Series season, steve-park.com reports.
